Mr Anton graduated from the London School of Economics, University of London, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He has a Master of Arts in Finance and holds an Investment Management Certificate awarded by the UK Society of Investment Professionals.

Mr Anton was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Captii Limited ("Captii") (a 58.3%-owned subsidiary of Advance Synergy Berhad ("ASB")) and the Captii Group on 10 August 2010. On 22 June 2006, Mr Anton was appointed to the Board of Captii. From December 2005 to 9 August 2010, he served as Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Captii. On 1 July 2005, he was appointed as General Manager-Corporate Development of ASB. Mr Anton served as Executive Director of Advansa Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of ASB from 17 July 2001 to 18 March 2016. He also served as Non Executive Director of SJ Securities Sdn Bhd from 20 September 2005. Prior to joining ASB in June 2001, Mr Anton was with the South East Asia Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse First Boston.

Mr Anton does not have any family relationship with any director and/or major shareholder of ASB, except that his father, Dato' Ahmad Sebi Bakar who is the Group Executive Chairman and major shareholder of ASB. His sister, Ms Aryati Sasya Dato' Ahmad Sebi, is also a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of ASB.

Mr Anton does not have any conflict of interest with ASB.

Mr Anton is a Director of Suasana Dinamik Sdn Bhd, a substantial shareholder of ASB. His father, Dato' Ahmad Sebi Bakar, is also a substantial shareholder and director of Suasana Dinamik Sdn Bhd. Mr Anton holds 30,467,000 ordinary shares of ASB via Eighth Review (M) Sdn Bhd which are treated as his father's interest in the ordinary shares of ASB pursuant to Section 59(11)(c) of the Companies Act 2016. By virtue of the interest of Mr Anton and his sister, Ms Aryati Sasya Dato' Ahmad Sebi, a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of ASB, in Segi Koleksi Sdn Bhd ("SKSB") via Pacific Existence Sdn Bhd, Mr Anton and Ms Aryati are deemed to be interested in the shares of Metroprime Corporation Sdn Bhd ("MCSB") to the extent that SKSB has an interest. SKSB is a 70%-owned subsidiary of ASB while MCSB is a 100%-owned subsidiary of SKSB. Mr Anton also holds 517,600 ordinary shares in Captii and 1 share in Acrylic Synergy Sdn Bhd, an indirect 81%-owned subsidiary of ASB.
