Further to the Company’s announcement on 28 September 2012 concerning the suit that has been remitted to the High Court in Alor Star for full trial, we wish to announce that our solicitors have been served with an application by PKNK for leave to appeal to the Federal Court of Malaysia against the decision of the Court of Appeal of Malaysia handed down on 27 September 2012. No hearing date has been fixed in respect of the leave application. In view of the aforesaid, parties will have to hold off any action vis-à-vis proceedings at the High Court level pending the hearing and disposal of the leave application by the Federal Court of Malaysia. This announcement is dated 29 October 2012. |
