The Board of Directors of ASB wishes to announce that the Company proposes to seek approval from its stockholders for the following proposals at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting:-

i) Proposed stockholders' mandate for recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature which are necessary for a day-to-day operations of the Company and/or its unlisted subsidiary companies pursuant to Paragraph 10.09 of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Listing Requirements") ("Proposed Stockholders' Mandate"); and
 
ii) Proposed adoption of new Articles of Association of the Company incorporating amendments to comply with the recent changes to the Listing Requirements ("Proposed Adoption").

A circular to the stockholders of ASB setting out information on the Proposed Stockholders' Mandate and Proposed Adoption will be despatched in due course.
