We refer to our announcement on 24 September 2004 concerning the receipt of the Judgment in Default of Appearance ("Default Judgment") dated 1 August 2004 for the sum of RM52,500,000.00, interest thereon at the rate of 8% per annum from the date of Judgment to the date of full realisation and costs of RM225.00. The Default Judgment was then served on PKNK via AR Registered Post on 13 October 2004 with a demand for payment of the Judgment Sum within 30 days after receipt of the same by PKNK.
We wish to announce that the Company's solicitors have subsequently received from the solicitors acting for PKNK the sealed copy of the Summons In Chambers to set aside the Default Judgment entered against PKNK and the PKNK's application to set aside the Default Judgment is fixed for hearing on 23 February 2005.
