We wish to announce that our 58.3%-owned subsidiary, UCH which is listed on the SGX, had on 14 September 2004 released their announcement concerning the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Unified Communications Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UCH and Uzbektelecom ("UT"), a joint stock company established under the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. UT is the largest telecommunications operator in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
