We wish to inform that our 58.3%-owned subsidiary, UCH, which is listed on the SGX, had in anticipation of the results announcement for their second quarter ended 30 June 2004, announced a corporate update on 16 July 2004 on UCH Group's long-term business strategy which may have an adverse impact on their performance for the said second quarter.
