We refer to our announcement dated 14 May 2001 in relation to the above.
The Directors of ASB are pleased to announce that Bank Negara Malaysia ("BNM") has notified ASB that BNM has no objection to the proposed disposal of the Company's entire equity interest of 49% in ACE Synergy to UMG.
Further information will be announced as soon as mutually agreeable terms are reached.
