Kindly be advised that ASB's 168,896,809 Warrants will be admitted to the Official List of the Exchange and the listing and quotation of these Warrants on the Main Board under the "Loans" sector, will be granted with effect from 9.00 a.m., Friday, 15 September 2000, on a "Ready" basis pursuant to the Rules of the Exchange.
The Stock Short Name, ISIN Code and Stock Number of the Warrants are "ASB-WA", "MYL1481WAD83"and "1481WA" respectively.
The Exercise Period shall commence from the date of issue of the Warrants (i.e. 29 August 2000) and will expire on 28 August 2003. Warrants not exercised during the Exercise Period will thereafter lapse and become void. The exercise price of the Warrants is RM1.00.
Kindly also be advised that the Warrants of ASB are prescribed securities. Dealings in the Warrants of ASB should be carried out in accordance with the Securities Industry (Central Depositories) Act,1991 and the Rules of Malaysian Central Depository Sdn Bhd.
Kindly also be reminded that only "free securities" can be utilised for settlement of trades involving the aforesaid Warrants of ASB.
