We refer to the above and our announcement to the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on 29 October 1999 in respect of the status of Y2K readiness of our remaining operating subsidiaries under the Synergy Card & Payment Services Sdn Bhd ("SCPS") Group of Companies which are yet to be Y2K ready.
Please be informed that SCPS Group has received the notification from their MasterCard licensor that SCPS Group has successfully completed the Y2K testing requirements outlined by their MasterCard licensor between 12 September 1999 and 25 October 1999.
SCPS Group is now Y2K ready. ASB and its remaining operating subsidiaries are already Y2K ready as announced on 23 July 1999 to the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.
