On behalf of the Board of Directors of ASB and UMG, Perdana Merchant Bankers Berhad ("Perdana Bankers") is pleased to announce that following the announcement on 5 August 1999 on the Proposed Disposal, UMG has on 13 September 1999 received a written notice from SBB that the expiry date for fulfilment of the last condition precedent of the sale and purchase agreement in relation to the Proposed Disposal has been extended by thirty (30) days from 30 September 1999 to 30 October 1999.
