The Board of Directors of Advance Synergy Berhad ("ASB"or "Company") wishes to announce that the Company had on 20 April 1999 received an approval from Bank Negara Malaysia to enter into negotiations pertaining to a proposed exercise involving the Company's 50.75% equity interest in United Merchant Group Berhad.
A further announcement will be made upon finalisation of the proposed exercise and the necessary approval being obtained from Bank Negara Malaysia.
