The Board of Directors of ASB wishes to announce that Triton Feeder Services Sdn Bhd (“TFS”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Advance Synergy Capital Sdn Bhd [which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ASB], had on 10 February 2011 received a notice of striking off pursuant to Section 308(4) of the Companies Act, 1965 from Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia that TFS has been struck off from the register of the Registrar of Companies. TFS is a dormant company incorporated on 18 June 2002.
The striking off is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings per share and net assets per share of ASB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2011.
None of the directors, major shareholders and/or persons connected with the directors and major shareholders of ASB has any interest, direct or indirect, in the striking off.
