The Board of Directors of ASB wishes to announce that the following wholly-owned subsidiaries of Advance Synergy Capital Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ASB, have been struck off and dissolved following the publication of the notices of striking off pursuant to Section 308(4) of the Companies Act 1965 in the Gazette obtained by ASB on 9 July 2010:-
1. Triton Terminal Management Sdn Bhd, a dormant company incorporated on 20 June 2002;
2. Triton Excursions Sdn Bhd, a dormant company incorporated on 13 June 2002;
3. Triton Synergy Holdings Sdn Bhd, a dormant company incorporated on 26 June 2002; and
4. Triton Express Holdings Sdn Bhd, a dormant company incorporated on 11 July 2002
with effect from 10 June 2010 which is the date of publication of the said notices in the Gazette.
The striking off and dissolution is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings per share and net assets per share of ASB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2010.
None of the directors, major shareholders and/or persons connected with the directors and major shareholders of ASB has any interest, direct or indirect, in the striking off and dissolution.
