Reference is made to the Company's announcement on 10 December 2007 on the Trust Deed entered into between Amanah Raya Berhad ("ARB" or the "Trustee") and the Company to constitute the 2% 10-Year Irredeemable Convertible Unsecured Loan Stocks ("ICULS") at 100% of the nominal value of RM0.15 each issued by ASB pursuant to a Rights Issue of the Company.
The Board of Directors of ASB wishes to announce the appointment of AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad ("ART") as the New Trustee replacing ARB which is retiring as the existing Trustee.
The retirement of ARB as Trustee and the appointment of ART as the New Trustee are now subject to the execution of a Supplemental Trust Deed by the Company, the Trustee and the New Trustee and/or any other documents to give full effect to the said retirement and appointment. The said retirement and appointment are not subject to approval from the ICULS holders and/or any relevant authorities.
