The Board of Directors of ASB wishes to announce that the Company had received a notice of nomination from a shareholder of the Company to nominate Messrs Baker Tilly Monteiro Heng as Auditors of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2008 in place of the retiring Auditors, Messrs BDO Binder, and to hold office until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting of the Company at a remuneration to be fixed by the Directors ("Proposed Change of Auditors").
The Proposed Change of Auditors is subject to and conditional upon approval being obtained from the shareholders of the Company at the Eighty-Fourth Annual General Meeting ("AGM") to be convened.
The notice of the AGM will be sent to the shareholders of the Company in due course.
